Project Manager - Engineering Services / Site Integration
We're looking for a Project Manager to provide project management support for an Engineering Services team involved in a large-scale site integration initiative. This role will coordinate day-to-day project activities across technical teams including Packaging, Labeling, Design Controls, and Biocompatibility, ensuring schedules, resources, risks, and deliverables remain aligned.
Travel: Up to 25% travel to the new site for cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities across multiple engineering and technical workstreams.
- Define project scope, objectives, key activities, resources, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain work breakdown structures, master schedules, and resource plans.
- Monitor master project plans and communicate progress, risks, constraints, resource needs, and key decisions.
- Identify project risks and support development of mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Prepare and deliver project presentations and status updates to senior leadership.
- Coordinate closely with technical and business stakeholders to maintain project alignment.
- Support globally managed projects using Microsoft Project and Portfolio Navigator.
- Provide guidance on project management tools, processes, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
- Experience managing cross-functional technical or engineering projects.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across technical teams and senior leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Background
- 3-5 years of engineering experience within the regulated medical device industry.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline; master's degree highly preferred.
- Experience with orthopedic implants, medical software, biomaterials, antimicrobial technologies, wound management, coatings, or local drug delivery.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
