In this position you will…
...report to the Senior Manager, Group People Solutions, based in Warsaw, Poland. Junior People Operations Specialist role will predominantly support the local Poland market across day-to-day People Operations and employee services activities, while also providing exposure to global People Solutions projects and initiatives. We are looking for a motivated early-career People Operations professional who is comfortable supporting employee queries, working with HRIS systems and core employee data, and collaborating with People Partners, managers, employees and external service providers. The successful candidate will become part of a diverse and supportive People Solutions team with established business processes, team engagement rituals and access to modern HR technology, including Oracle.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and coordinating a variety of People Operations and Employee Services activities for the Poland market across the employee lifecycle.
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, including employee documentation, system updates, checklists and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Responding to routine employee, manager and People Partner queries related to HR policies, processes, transactions and self-service navigation, with guidance from senior team members where needed.
- Maintaining accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll-related systems, including core employee records, employment changes, absence information, benefits and other people data.
- Supporting payroll and benefits administration activities by preparing inputs, checking data accuracy and following agreed timelines and processes.
- Helping ensure documentation, employee records and transactions are completed in line with company policy, local statutory requirements, data privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities for People Operations processes, including identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize and improve the employee experience.
- Participating in selected global People Solutions projects and initiatives, gaining exposure to cross-country processes, HR technology, data quality and service delivery improvements.
- Preparing simple reports, trackers and documentation to support operational follow-up, stakeholder updates and team delivery.
- Working as part of a collaborative People Solutions team that values learning, knowledge sharing, service mindset and continuous improvement.
You will require the following qualifications and skills:
- Ideally 1–3 years of first experience in People Operations, HR Services, HR Administration or a similar role, preferably in an international or shared services environment.
- Good understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, with an interest in building deeper expertise in People Operations, payroll, benefits and employee services.
- Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, managers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR data concepts; hands-on experience with Oracle, Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft or similar HR cloud systems would be an advantage.
- Technology savvy with good digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, accuracy and right-first-time execution.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, follow agreed timelines and elevate topics appropriately when support is needed.
- Customer-focused and employee-centric mindset, with empathy, discretion and professionalism when handling employee matters.
- Ability to protect data privacy at all times and adhere to confidentiality requirements when handling personal and sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; further qualification or certification in HR-related areas would be an advantage.
