Job summary

SMA Solar in Kraków is seeking an Application Engineer to ensure stable software deployment and provide qualified 2nd level support for client applications. The role combines packaging expertise with troubleshooting across daily IT operations.

You will handle packaging (MSI/EXE) for Intune, define install/uninstall routines, and contribute to testing, QA, and process optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in software packaging and IT support.
• Packaging applications (MSI, EXE) and deployment via Intune.
• Troubleshooting client applications and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Packaging applications (MSI/EXE) for distribution via Microsoft Intune.
• Creating .intunewin packages using the Win32 Content Prep Tool.
• Defining installation and uninstallation routines and detection rules.
• Planning, testing, and rolling out software packages.
• Maintaining and updating existing applications.
