Job summary

SMA Magnetics Sp. z o.o. in Kraków is seeking an Application Engineer to package and deploy software, and to provide 2nd level support for client applications.

The role involves building MSI/EXE packages for Intune deployment, defining installation routines, and rolling out software updates in an enterprise environment. You will analyze incidents, troubleshoot installation and runtime issues, and collaborate with QA, IT, and software providers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in software packaging and IT support.
• Experience with MSI, EXE, and Intune deployment.
• Proficiency in Windows client operating systems.
• Strong English (B2) and German (B2) language skills.
• Analytical thinking and structured, independent work.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Package applications (MSI, EXE) for distribution via Microsoft Intune.
• Create .intunewin packages with Win32 Content Prep Tool.
• Define installation/uninstallation routines and detection rules.
• Plan, test, and rollout software packages.
• Maintain and update existing applications.
