Job summary

Trane Technologies in Poland is hiring for a Technical Sales Support AHU. You will handle the technical selection of air handling units, generate list prices, and provide technical support for AL-KO equipment sales.

The role requires an engineering degree and at least 5 years in HVAC, with fluent English and Polish. You will work with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment to deliver cost-effective HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

Engineering degree required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC industry in technical selection / engineering selection, supporting technical sales.
Windows / Microsoft Office knowledge.
Familiarity with HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls.
Team player and ability to work across multi-cultural environment.
Fluent English and Polish required.

Responsibilities

Draft quotations and commercial offers on time and communicate that to AL-KO Sales Engineer.
Use the AL-KO software to select units, build the offer and consult with the technical support at the factory if needed.
Understand customer requests and propose new technical advice. Stays abreast of industry trends.
Responsible for the optimization/validation of the equipment to include selection of size, configuration, voltage, options, etc. of the HVAC equipment by reviewing the plans, specifications, original estimate, and proposal.
Responsible for evaluating possible cost savings and/or cost problems that will occur on various projects.
Supports sales and develops preliminary submittals and/or final submittals as required, as well as hold job cost consensus meeting and submittal release and makes any necessary changes.
Responsible for preparing the correct equipment for order entry, verifying equipment pricing and revising coordination worksheet, as well as reconcile job costs.
Suggest productivity improvements and innovative actions on processes, organization, tools, etc.
Communicate and deliver support to Designers/Consultants.
Overall cost & selection optimalization including logistics, services, etc.
Be the back-office support for the Sales Engineers and contribute to the growth of AL-KO products in the market.
Liaise with the AL-KO plant's support team to optimize major costings, update technical sales support and accompany strategic customers.
