Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Payable Junior Specialist (Temporary) to support invoice processing and queries in a global environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork within a dynamic AP team.

The candidate will gain exposure to SAP and Excel, and contribute to month-end close, internal controls, and cross-department collaboration while ensuring timely payments and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP and good Excel skills are advantageous.
• Good understanding of financial accounting, reporting and internal control is a plus.
• Strong English language skills for business communication.

Responsibilities

• Process daily AP operations including invoice processing and queries.
• Support month-end closing activities with accurate documentation.
• Respond to internal and external queries; assist in control testing.
• Coordinate with local business and other departments to ensure timely payments.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and transparency.
