Hitachi Digital is seeking a Junior Project Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting project accounting, invoicing, and revenue recognition with a focus on US GAAP compliance. You will report to the Finance Manager and coordinate with Delivery, Sales, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data for client projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage revenue cycle processes including revenue recognition per US GAAP.
• Review contracts and POs for non‑standard terms and set up projects accordingly.
• Collaborate with management to ensure data accuracy for clients and projects.
• Record monthly revenue recognition and related journal entries.
• Process customer invoices for Time & Materials, Fixed Price, and Cost Plus engagements.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconcile revenue accounts, and support audit schedules.
• Partner with Delivery, Sales, and Finance to resolve billing issues.
• Analyze revenue trends for management reporting.
• Identify process improvements in revenue and invoicing workflows.
