Job description

Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.
Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

Dedrone, by Axon, is a global leader in smart airspace security. Commercial, government, public safety and defence customers around the world rely on Dedrone’s comprehensive command-and-control (C2) solutions to protect against evolving drone threats while enabling authorised drone operations. By leveraging AI/ML and integrating multiple sensors and mitigation technologies into a single operating picture, Dedrone enables customers to detect, track, identify, analyse and respond to drone activity. Solutions can be deployed on-premise, in air-gapped environments or in the cloud, supporting demanding defence, national security, public safety and critical-infrastructure missions.

This role will drive Dedrone’s growth across Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), with a particular focus on Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary. The region is experiencing rapidly evolving security requirements and increasing demand for counter-UAS and airspace-awareness capabilities across defence, border security, critical infrastructure and public safety.

Location: Poland (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
  • Own market development, sales planning and revenue growth across Central & Eastern European markets, with particular focus on Defence, National Security, Public Safety and Critical Infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute country-specific go-to-market strategies reflecting local defence procurement structures, security priorities, regulatory environments and customer requirements.
  • Build and expand relationships with defence ministries, armed forces, border and security agencies, police and public safety organisations, critical-infrastructure operators and other government stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging requirements and new market opportunities associated with the rapidly evolving UAS and counter-UAS threat environment, including protection of military installations, borders, airports, energy infrastructure and other strategic sites.
  • Develop trusted relationships with local systems integrators, defence industry partners, technology partners, resellers and distributors, creating a scalable partner ecosystem across the region.
  • Navigate complex government and defence procurement processes and develop opportunities from initial customer engagement and capability definition through demonstrations, trials, tenders and contract award.
  • Position Dedrone solutions within broader C2, sensor, radar, electronic warfare, security and counter-UAS architectures, working with customers and partners to address operational requirements.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to maximise opportunities created through existing Axon relationships, capabilities and networks across government, public safety and commercial markets.
  • Represent Dedrone at relevant defence, security and public safety events across the wider CEE region, building senior-level relationships and strengthening Dedrone’s regional presence.
  • Work closely with Dedrone and Axon sales, product, engineering and leadership teams across EMEA and globally on strategic opportunities, customer requirements and major programmes.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of regional market developments, procurement programmes, competitors and evolving customer requirements, translating these insights into actionable commercial strategies.
What You Bring
  • A successful track record in technology sales or business development, ideally within defence technology, counter-UAS, aerospace, security, public safety, sensors, radar, electronic warfare or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Eastern Europe markets, national security or public safety ecosystem, including established relationships with relevant government, military, industry and integration partners.
  • Experience developing opportunities involving government procurement, defence programmes, tenders, trials and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Ability to engage credibly with customers at tactical, operational and strategic levels, from technical and operational users through to senior military, government and industry decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiating skills, combined with the ability to explain sophisticated technical solutions in the context of customer missions and operational requirements.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to build long-term, trusted relationships across government and industry.
  • Mission-driven, outcomes-focused, collaborative and comfortable working within an international organisation and a rapidly evolving security environment.
  • Mature, proactive and self-directed, with a structured and transparent working style and the ability to develop a territory with significant autonomy.
  • Fluency in a CEE Countries language and strong professional written and spoken English.
