Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a Team Leader for the Islamabad Store in Pakistan. The role focuses on implementing quality, range, and freshness standards to attract customers and achieve sales targets, while ensuring exceptional customer service within the department.

You will monitor pricing, product assortment, stock levels, and supplier promotions, driving profitability and compliance with safety standards. Experience in retail and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in retail.
• Operations supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product range, and promotions to maintain a competitive advantage within the store’s catchment area.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies, optimize profitability, and utilize assets efficiently.
• Oversee product assortment, negotiate supplier promotions, and maintain competitive product offering.
• Ensure effective stock control, monitor stock value and availability, prevent stockouts, and coordinate orders and deliveries.
• Minimize waste and shrinkage while maintaining optimal stock levels and efficiency.
• Ensure displays, planograms, new product visibility, and accurate pricing across the department.
• Monitor merchandisers’ attendance and performance, and support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and hygiene standards.

JOB TITLE

Team Leader – HHH | Islamabad Store | Pakistan

Role Purpose

The Team Leader is responsible for implementing quality, range and freshness standards of offered goods to attract customers in order to achieve the set sales targets. The role holder is also responsible for exceptional customer service is delivered within the section.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, product range, and promotions, and implement strategies to maintain a competitive advantage within the store’s catchment area.
• Ensure compliance with commercial pricing policies, optimize departmental profitability, and maximize the effective utilization of assets and resources.
• Oversee product assortment, negotiate supplier promotions, and ensure a competitive product offering aligned with customer expectations and commercial objectives.
• Ensure effective stock control, monitor stock value and availability, prevent out-of-stock situations, and coordinate orders and merchandise deliveries.
• Implement initiatives to minimize waste and stock shrinkage while maintaining appropriate stock levels and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper product displays, implementation of planograms, visibility of new products, and accurate pricing across the department.
• Monitor merchandisers’ attendance and performance, ensure adherence to operational standards, and support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and hygiene standards, protect company know-how, and address customer queries and concerns effectively.

Minimum Qualifications/Education
