As Supervisor Operations, you will maintain complete oversight of dock discipline, stock accuracy, and physical warehouse locations. You will bridge physical receiving/dispatch operations with digital WMS/SAP inventory records—ensuring zero discrepancies in quantities, batch numbers, or expiry dates during offloading, picking, loading, and daily location audits.
Responsibilities
- Dock & Inbound Operations: Maintain an orderly dock area. Receive driver paperwork, dock vehicles, manage offloading, and inspect stock for physical count, quality, stacking height, batch/expiry details, and damage/shortages.
- Inbound Discrepancy & Put-Away: Record offloading discrepancies on documents with driver acknowledgment. Verify physical put-away against pallet tags and WMS/SAP data, submitting signed put-away papers to inventory.
- Outbound & Vehicle Inspection: Receive pick lists/dispatch plans, dock outbound vehicles, tag customer dock locations to prevent mix-ups, and conduct pre-loading vehicle inspections.
- Picking & Customer Bucket Assembly: Execute system-generated pick lists from designated locations, verify remaining balance stock, check expiry dates, and build precise customer loading buckets.
- Loading Verification & Documentation: Recheck stock against dispatch sheets with supervisors to ensure zero mixed, interchanged, or expired items are loaded. Submit paperwork for invoices/gate passes, deliver final documents to transporters, and dock out vehicles.
- Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counts: Perform daily cycle counts on all locations involved in the previous day's picking and put-away, taking direct responsibility for location and stock accuracy.
- QSHE & Safety Compliance: Preserve product and facility quality, enforce safe systems of work, report hazardous acts or conditions immediately, and ensure full compliance with company QSHE rules.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation, Intermediate, or Graduation.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on dock and warehouse floor supervision experience in logistics.
- Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of ERP/WMS put-away, picking, and cycle-counting workflows.
