Job summary

Connect Logistics is seeking a Team Leader Operations to supervise daily warehouse execution, aligning management directives with floor activities. You will guide staff, manage labor relations, ensure equipment upkeep, and perform daily stock reconciliations while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

You will drive inventory accuracy, oversee MHE and distributor coordination, and enforce SOPs and QSHE rules to sustain efficient, secure operations on the floor.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands‑on floor leadership in warehouse/logistics.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and core operational software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce receiving, storage and distribution procedures and coordinate inbound/outbound execution.
• Manage labor rosters, daily tasks, attendance, and liaise with labor contractors.
• Provide orientation, coaching and guidance to boost productivity.
• Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Maintain warehouse layout, safety, and equipment condition.
• Oversee MHE maintenance and coordinate with distributors.
• Ensure QSHE, SOP adherence and report hazards.

Job description

As Team Leader Operations, you will be on the front lines of daily warehouse execution. You will bridge management directives with floor operations—guiding staff, managing labor contractor relations, ensuring equipment upkeep, executing daily stock reconciliations, and maintaining warehouse aesthetics and safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Floor Operations & Planning: Enforce operational procedures for receiving, storage, and distribution. Coordinate directly with customers for inbound and outbound execution.
• Labor & Workforce Management: Monitor monthly duty rosters, assign daily tasks, track labor attendance, and coordinate with labor contractors to resolve queries quickly.
• On-the-Job Training & Guidance: Lead the operations team by providing orientation, on-job training, coaching, and counseling to ensure high productivity.
• Inventory Control & Verification: Control inventory levels through physical stock counts during receiving and dispatch, conducting daily reconciliations against system records.
• Facility Aesthetics & Layout: Maintain optimal warehouse physical conditions and aesthetics, implement assigned layout changes, and inspect operational equipment.
• MHE & Distributor Coordination: Oversee daily maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and coordinate with distributors for smooth workflow and issue resolution.
• QSHE, SOPs & Facility Safety: Drive full adherence to company SOPs and QSHE rules. Maintain warehouse security, cleanliness, safe systems of work, and report any hazardous conditions immediately.

Requirements

• Education: Matriculation, Intermediate, or Graduation.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands‑on floor leadership experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Technical & System Skills: Knowledge of ERP/WMS platforms and core operational software.
• Core Skills: Strong team leadership, communication, labor management, problem‑solving, and inventory handling abilities.
