As Supervisor Inventory, you will act as a core custodian of stock data and location accuracy on the floor. You will bridge physical dock operations with digital inventory management—issuing system documentation (put-away sheets, pick lists, gate passes, sales invoices), leading discrepancy investigations, managing non-conforming stock segregation, and serving as a key communication link between warehouse floor teams, operations, and clients.
Responsibilities
- Stock Tracking & Reporting: Maintain complete tracking of all stock inventories and system locations. Generate batch-wise, item-wise, or customer-wise stock reports as required by management.
- System Documentation Processing: Create and issue system-generated put-away sheets, pick lists, dispatch slips, gate passes, and sales invoices in WMS/SAP. Ensure timely data updates across all platforms.
- Inventory Reconciliation & Daily Audits: Perform daily zero-location checks, conduct regular transactional checks, and execute physical vs. WMS stock reconciliations to eliminate variances.
- Damaged & Non-Conforming Stock Control: Segregate damaged, non-conforming, or hold stock in assigned physical locations and ensure proper inventory status movements within WMS.
- Root Cause Analysis & Issue Resolution: Perpetually follow up on discrepancies and non-conformities; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with operations cell.
- Client & Operational Support: Identify potential areas for client complaints, coordinate with operations to resolve client queries in the line manager's absence, and ensure proper record-keeping archiving.
- QSHE & Workplace Safety: Oversee warehouse floor activities for procedure conformity, maintain safe work practices, safeguard product and facility quality, and immediately report any hazardous conditions or QSHE risks.
Requirements
- Education: Matriculation, Intermediate, or Graduation.
- Experience: 1 to 43years of hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse, or WMS operations.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in ERP/WMS inventory modules and MS Office (especially Excel).
