Job summary

Motive seeks a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II (Enterprise) to partner with Sales and GTM leadership. You will own end-to-end recurring business rhythms, build automation to scale processes, and provide defensible, data-driven recommendations.

You will turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, directly supporting territory planning, quota tracking, and KPI monitoring with a focus on data integrity and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales operations, revenue operations, business intelligence, or business strategy with ownership of recurring reporting or analytics for a commercial team.
• You independently write and debug warehouse queries, including joins, window functions, CTEs, and aggregation logic.
• Advanced Google Sheets, plus working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, and reports.
• You have shipped automation using Glean, n8n, Apps Script, or comparable platforms; Python is a plus.
• You can frame vague requests into structured problems and defend your assumptions with data.
• You can explain complex data models to sales leaders and present a quantified narrative.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring business reviews and the weekly/quarterly cadence, reconciling numbers and telling the story behind movements.
• Build automation to replace manual work via AI agents, multi-system workflows, and scripted data pipelines.
• Drive analysis of pipeline, funnel, forecast, and productivity data to inform leadership.
• Support territory planning and coverage through collaboration with sales leaders.
• Own quota, target, and KPI tracking with clear, executive-grade definitions.
• Partner with Systems, Data Quality, Enablement, SDR, Marketing, and Finance to fix issues at the source.
• Protect data integrity by embedding QA in what you ship and addressing upstream causes.
