Job summary

Motive is seeking a Business Strategy & Operations Analyst II to join the Sales Operations team. You will translate data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and support cross-functional initiatives that scale our operations.

With 3–5 years in BI or sales ops, you’ll own data quality, partner with sales leaders, and help craft compelling business narratives using Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, and related tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in business intelligence, sales operations, or related fields.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or Economics.

About the Role:

This dynamic role goes beyond traditional support, positioning you as a strategic partner to Sales & Sales Ops leaders. You'll play a pivotal role in scaling our successful operations model, enabling our teams to focus on high-impact initiatives that fuel our company's growth and success.

What You’ll Do:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate and analyze data to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional Background: 3-5 years in business intelligence, sales operations, or related fields, with a focus on data analysis and reporting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and Salesforce is essential; Apps Script, Hex and N8N knowledge is preferred and SQL proficiency is mandatory.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a proactive, adaptable mindset. A detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Economics or a related field is encouraged; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Note:

As part of the hiring process for this role, there will be an on-site round where shortlisted candidates will go through simulations that reflect real scenarios faced by analysts on our team. This includes deep-diving into raw data and crafting business narratives by leveraging data in google sheets and pulling data using SQL, a chance to showcase how you think, analyze, and communicate, beyond traditional interviews.
