Job summary

ZTE in Pakistan is seeking an experienced Vice Project Director to join our telecommunications leadership team. You will support the Project Director with end-to-end delivery, governance, and regional deployment programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and operational excellence.

The role requires strong program management expertise, cross-functional leadership, and a proven ability to manage budgets, risk, and complex multi-site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of professional project management experience in telecom/high-tech.
• Proven track record of large-scale infrastructure deployment projects.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile and financial tracking.
• Excellent English communication; multilingual is a plus.
• Eligible to work in Pakistan.

Responsibilities

• Support executive leadership in crafting telecommunications program roadmaps in Pakistan.
• Oversee cross-site delivery to ensure timely, cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to hit milestones.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and cash flow forecasting.
• Enforce governance, QA, and risk mitigation.
• Communicate with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Lead root-cause analysis for delays or defects.
• Prepare performance reports and dashboards.
