Job summary

People (Professional Employers Pvt Ltd) is seeking a Technical Support Manager in Lahore to lead after-sales technical support for solar energy and energy storage solutions. You will troubleshoot product issues, coordinate engineers for field work, train staff, and ensure timely, safe resolutions, while driving continuous improvements.

The role emphasizes diagnosing complex battery and ESS systems, documenting SOPs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/ Renewable Energy or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in solar energy, battery, ESS, or renewable energy industries.
• Hands-on experience with solar systems, lithium batteries, BMS, inverters, or energy storage systems.
• Experience in technical support, after-sales service, installation, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, technical specifications, and product manuals.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites or project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage after-sales technical support and coordinate resolution of customer complaints and issues.
• Assign and coordinate technical engineers for troubleshooting, site visits, and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to lithium batteries, BMS, inverters, ESS, and system communication.
• Develop understanding of products, installation procedures, and system configurations.
• Conduct regular technical training for engineers, installers, and internal teams.
• Provide technical guidance during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Identify recurring problems and perform root-cause analysis to improve quality.
• Document common issues and create SOPs for troubleshooting and resolution.
• Maintain records of technical complaints, resolutions, warranty cases, and service activities.
• Coordinate with sales, technical, R&D, and product teams to resolve complex issues.
• Collect field feedback and suggest product/process improvements.
• Ensure all activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.
