Job summary

Motive is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to HR Leaders, HRBPs, and Legal. You will own investigations from intake to resolution, handling sensitive matters with neutrality and care, while partnering with Legal to strengthen ER programs in a global company.

You will work in a hybrid setting (2 days in office) with locations in Lahore or Islamabad, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain a fair employee experience and compliant

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in HRBP with at least 3+ years in employee relations/labor relations.
• Conflict management: proven ability to navigate sensitive conversations and guide parties to resolution.
• Employment law knowledge: familiarity with Pakistan and India employment laws is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the investigation process end-to-end as the primary ER investigator from intake to resolution.
• Handle cases of varying complexity and sensitivity across HR concerns including rights, conduct, safety, and attendance.
• Maintain meticulous investigation logs and documentation in a timely, consistent manner.
• Facilitate open-door processes and investigate formal complaints with rigor and impartiality.
• Collaborate with Legal and HRBPs to design ER processes, programs, and tools to strengthen organizational capability.
• Participate in mediation and dispute resolution to reach fair outcomes.
