Job summary

Indus Hospital & Health Network seeks a Manager of Employee Relations to lead complex employee relations matters across a large healthcare organization. You will conduct investigations, provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions, and develop/uphold policies to ensure lawful and fair treatment of staff.

The role requires a Master’s in HR or MBA/MPA with LLB, and 8–10 years of HR experience including 5–6 years in employee relations.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive HR experience with 5–6 years in employee relations, labor relations, or HR compliance in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s labor laws and healthcare HR practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations matters including grievances, conflicts, misconduct, and disciplinary issues.
• Lead investigations into employee complaints, harassment, policy violations, and workplace disputes.
• Advise managers on performance issues, disciplinary actions, terminations, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and update employee relations policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures, including hearings and final decisions.
• Monitor and report grievances, disciplinary actions, and turnover trends.
• Support exit interviews and analyze findings related to retention and satisfaction.
• Maintain confidential records of employee relations cases and outcomes.
• Promote open communication and ethical conduct aligned with the organization’s values.
• Stay updated on labor law changes and employee relations trends.
