Job summary

Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited is seeking a diligent Branch Banking Officer/Senior Branch Banking Officer to join its retail banking team. The role focuses on managing daily branch operations, processing cash transactions, remittances, online payments, and cheque/bank card handling while upholding KYC/AML regulations and security standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in branch operations and cash handling, with a solid understanding of retail banking

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in branch operations and cash handling.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Proficient in cash management and reconciliation processes.
• Professional, service‑oriented, and able to execute daily branch tasks with strict security and regulatory standards.
• Experience with KYC/AML compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process cash deposits and withdrawals in local and foreign currencies according to procedures.
• Initiate and process remittances such as pay orders, demand drafts, and fund transfers.
• Accept and process online deposits and payments; manage inward/outward clearing and postings.
• Handle lodgment/settlement of cheques, stop payments, and foreign currency remittances.
