Job summary

Habib Bank Limited is seeking a Cash Officer to handle cash transactions, ensure compliance with SOPs, and maintain branch security in Islamabad. The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and effective communication with customers and team members.

The candidate will manage cash in vault and in hand, balance cash, and generate MIS reports for SBP and management, while adhering to policy and achieving audit targets. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Error free execution of all customer/branch based financial transactions and non-financial transactions as per delegated authority and SOPs.
• Implement processes per bank SOPs and KPIs to ensure adherence and branch performance.
• Monitor branch reports to mitigate operational risk and support audit ratings.
• Safeguard cash vault, stationery and ATM during processing to ensure security.
• Report suspicious transactions to Branch Operations Manager or Manager Teller for escalation.
• Maintain cash-related MIS / Cash Transactions Reporting for regulators (SBP) and senior management.
• Balance cash in hand and Vault per State Bank clean note policy and cash-in-safe limits to avoid penalties and ensure audit ratings.
• Reconcile cash in hand GL across currencies to minimize cash differences.
