Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a Senior Design & Application Engineer to advance process automation across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities and Renewable Energy. You will design hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS, validate against standards, and lead FAT/SAT, site commissioning, and handover with customers.

Strong instrumentation knowledge and field exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 4–6 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls.
• Proven experience in hardware design for specialized control systems (DCS, SIS, FGS).
• Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation and control system principles.
• Experience with FAT, site work, commissioning and startup.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS control systems.
• Ensure adherence to major industrial standards across project phases.
• Demonstrate understanding of instrumentation and working principles.
• Analyze customer specifications (FRS, P&IDs, CEs, drawings) to gather project info.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity measures.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT, manuals).
• Participate in factory and site activities including FAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and training.
• Ensure compliance with project specs and client requirements.
