Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Senior Design & Application Engineer to advance process automation solutions across oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities, and renewables. The role focuses on hardware design for DCS, SIS, and FGS, SCADA virtualization, and cyber-secure industrial networks.

You will lead engineering activities, collaborate on FAT/SAT, and drive documentation from design through startup, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 4 - 6 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls.
• Proven experience in hardware design for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
• Experience with system testing, FAT, and site work including commissioning and startup.
• Hands-on Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Ensure adherence to major industrial standards throughout project phases.
• Demonstrate understanding of major instrumentation and system functionality.
• Analyze and interpret customer specifications (FRS, P&IDs, C&Es, drawings, narratives, philosophies) to gather project information.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity (access control, network segmentation, system hardening, data integrity).
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT procedures, system manuals).
• Participate in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, training, and final handover.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, procedures, and client requirements.
