Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Design & Application Engineer to join our team, driving process automation projects across oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities, and renewables. You will design hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS and support site activities from FAT to startup.

You will interpret specifications, ensure standards compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years in Industrial Automation & Controls.
• Experience in hardware design for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control principles.
• Experience with FAT, site work, commissioning and startup.
• Hands-on Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Ensure adherence to industrial standards across project phases.
• Demonstrate understanding of instrumentation and system functionality.
• Analyze customer specifications (FRS, P&IDs, C&Es, drawings) to gather project information.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity implementation.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT, manuals).
• Participate in factory and site activities (FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, handover).
• Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, procedures, and client requirements.
