Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Design & Application Engineer to advance process automation across Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. You will design hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS, validate against industrial standards, and translate customer specs into executable project data.

The role includes site activities, factory testing, commissioning, and ongoing documentation work, with opportunities to contribute to digitalization and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 4 - 6 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls.
• Proven experience in hardware design for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
• Experience with system testing, FAT, and site work, including commissioning and startup.
• Hands-on Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware for DCS, SIS, and FGS.
• Ensure adherence to major industrial standards throughout project phases.
• Analyze and interpret customer specifications including FRS, P&IDs, and CEs to gather project data.
• Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity implementations.
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation (FDS, FAT/SAT, manuals).
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements throughout the lifecycle.
