Location: Onsite |Gulberg 3, Liberty Chowk, Lahore| (Pakistan)
Working from Lahore with: Branch Managers across 7 branches — Gujrat Group of Restaurants, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in the restaurant / F&B industry with strong sales experience, particularly in Pakistani cuisine
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head of Business / Senior Management

Gujrat Group of Restaurants, established in 2014, is one of Abu Dhabi’s most recognized Pakistani restaurant groups. Operating 7 branches under the brands Royal Gujrat, Gujrat Restaurant & Sweets, and Naan House, we serve authentic Pakistani cuisine — from everyday dining to fine dining — built on quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality.
We are now investing in a dedicated sales development function to strengthen the sales performance of our branches and equip our Branch Managers with the guidance, mindset, and tools they need to consistently grow revenue.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Sales Development Manager to work from the Lahore office and serve as a dedicated sales mentor and guide for our Branch Managers across all 7 branches in Abu Dhabi.
This is a desk-based, sales-focused role. The Sales Development Manager’s sole focus is sales — helping Branch Managers understand their numbers, identify what is holding sales back, and coach them on how to sell better across dine-in, take-away, and delivery channels. Operations is not part of this role. The value this person brings is deep Pakistani restaurant sales experience, sharp commercial instinct, and the ability to translate both into practical guidance that Branch Managers can act on immediately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct structured weekly online sales meetings with each Branch Manager across all 7 branches.
- Review each branch’s sales performance before every meeting — dine-in covers, take-away volumes, delivery numbers, average spend, and daily trends.
- Lead every meeting with a clear sales agenda — what the numbers say, what is behind them, and what the branch manager needs to do differently.
- Agree on specific, measurable sales actions at the end of every meeting and follow up on them the following week.
- All meetings will be transcribed and shared with management for tracking and review.
- Act as the primary sales coach for all Branch Managers — guiding them on how to drive dine-in revenue, increase take-away capture, and maximize delivery performance.
- Help Branch Managers develop a sales mindset — understanding that every guest, every table, and every order is a sales opportunity.
- Share practical sales techniques drawn from real Pakistani restaurant experience — upselling, suggestive selling, managing peak hours for maximum revenue, and retaining loyal customers.
- Identify individual gaps in each Branch Manager’s sales thinking and address them directly through focused coaching conversations.
- Build consistency across the branch network — all 7 branches should reflect the same sales culture and approach over time.
- Track sales performance across all 7 branches on a regular basis — by channel, by day, by time slot, and by branch.
- Identify underperforming branches and escalation clear, sales‑specific recommendations to management.
- Spot patterns and opportunities across the branch network — what is driving sales at one branch that others can learn from.
- Monitor the impact of agreed sales actions week on week and adjust the coaching approach based on results.
Reporting to Management
- Provide regular sales performance updates to senior management — branch by branch, with honest assessment of progress and challenges.
- Flag branches where sales targets are consistently not being met and recommend specific interventions.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy for the group based on patterns and insights observed across all branches.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the restaurant or F&B industry, with a strong focus on sales — particularly in Pakistani cuisine environments.
- Someone who has genuinely driven restaurant sales — who knows what moves dine-in covers, what increases average spend, and what builds a loyal customer base in a Pakistani restaurant.
- A natural coach and mentor — able to guide Branch Managers through sales conversations without telling them what to do, but helping them think it through themselves.
- Deep knowledge of Pakistani cuisine, the Pakistani dining customer, and what makes a Pakistani restaurant branch commercially successful.
- Strong communicator in English/Urdu — most branch manager conversations will be in Urdu and the coaching must land clearly and practically.
- Commercially sharp — understands restaurant revenue levers and can speak about sales in plain, branch‑level terms that a manager can act on.
- Disciplined and consistent — this role runs on a weekly meeting cadence across 7 branches and every branch must receive the same standard of engagement.
- Comfortable working independently from an office — managing a structured remote schedule and following through on every commitment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience in a sales training, mentoring, or area sales management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Exposure to multi‑branch restaurant sales management.
- Familiarity with the UAE restaurant market and Abu Dhabi’s Pakistani dining customer base.
- Comfort reviewing basic sales dashboards or reports as part of meeting preparation.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A focused, senior role where your restaurant sales experience directly shapes the revenue performance of 7 branches.
- A structured, office-based position with a clear purpose — purely sales, no operational responsibilities.
- Direct reporting line to senior management with a real voice in the group’s sales direction.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
