Job summary

XTIUM seeks a seasoned Network Engineer to join our global team. You will provide escalation support for the NOC and Associate Network Engineers, diagnose complex enterprise network issues, and drive resolutions with a strong focus on CSI and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents in ServiceNow, mentoring peers, and supporting on-call rotations for Tier 2 issues. A CCNP and ITIL v4 Foundation or equivalent are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer.
• CCNP or equivalent certifications required.
• Experience in Managed Services environment.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to mentor others and educate on network tech.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide issue escalation support for NOC and Associate Network Engineers.
• Diagnose network issues and drive to resolution; escalate to Tier 3 Principal Network Engineers when needed.
• Complete service requests, migrations, and change management tasks.
• Identify CSI opportunities to improve security, efficiency, and cost.
• Document issues and current status in ServiceNow.
• Lead resolution of highly complex issues escalated by Network Eng.
• Follow standard processes including change management, escalation, and notifications.
• Mentor NOC, Associate Network Engineers and peers.
• Provide on-call support for Tier 2 issues.
