Job summary

XTIUM is seeking a senior network engineer to design, deploy, and maintain large-scale data center and cloud networking across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will provide Tier-2/3 incident support, optimize routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), and work with Cisco Nexus 9000, ASA/Firepower, Fortinet FortiGate in a global, remote-capable role. CCIE preferred; 8+ years in enterprise/service-provider networks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or service-provider networks.
• Mastery of high-end Cisco platforms (ASR, Nexus, Catalyst).
• Deep experience with firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA, Firepower/FTD and Fortinet FortiGate.

Responsibilities

• Datacenter infrastructure and networking for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Work with Cisco Nexus 9000, vPC, VXLAN, spine-leaf architectures.
• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 operations support for complex incidents across environments.
• Design and troubleshoot IPSec Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPNs across multi-vendor firewalls.
• Architect and support large-scale routing with BGP, MPLS integrations and performance optimization.
• Deploy and manage enterprise infrastructure: Cisco ASR routers, Nexus, Catalyst, ASA/Firepower.
• Configure VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, NAT/PAT, ACLs, and advanced routing/security features.
• Perform upgrades, maintenance, patching, and lifecycle management across network platforms.
• Coordinate with ISP/MPLS providers and create escalation cases with vendors.
