Job summary

XTIUM is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to lead datacenter and hybrid-cloud networking initiatives. You will design and operate complex Cisco environments, including Nexus 9000, ASR routing, and firewall platforms, while collaborating with global teams.

Candidates should have 8+ years in enterprise or service-provider networks, CCIE preferred, and strong Azure networking experience for VPNs, vWAN, and security design.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud, enterprise or service provider networks.
• Mastery of Cisco ASR, Nexus 9000, Catalyst devices.
• Deep firewall experience: Cisco ASA, Firepower/FTD, Fortinet.
• Strong routing and switching fundamentals with BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, MPLS.
• Experience with secure hybrid-cloud networks and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication with international teams; CCIE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage datacenter infrastructure and networking with Nexus 9000, vPC, VXLAN in spine-leaf designs.
• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 support for complex incidents across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid.
• Design and troubleshoot Azure networking: vWAN, VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs.
• Configure and support VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs, NAT/PAT, ACLs.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management; coordinate with providers.
