ValueMomentum seeks an experienced data quality professional to lead data testing and validation for P&C insurance software solutions. Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, focused on data testing and data validation.
• Good understanding of P&C insurance concepts, data models, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries for data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of data testing principles and both manual and automated testing.
• Hands‑on experience developing data testing scripts using SQL, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience testing ETL/ELT processes, including extraction, transformation logic, and loading validation.
• Familiarity with data quality and data engineering platforms such as Informatica.
• Experience testing data pipelines, tables, and transformations in Snowflake, including schema validation and data reconciliation.
• Experience validating BI/reporting layers using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Cognos, or similar.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Rally, Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
• Strong understanding of regression testing.
• Prior experience leading a team of Data QA Engineers in Agile environments, including onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Strong ownership, analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in the P&C insurance domain, including Policy, Claims, and Billing.

Good To Have:

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ICP, SnowPro Core, or Agile certifications.
