Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer Lead with 8+ years of experience to own automation testing across UI and API layers, including Guidewire ClaimCenter. You will design, implement and mentor, delivering scalable test strategies in our Hyderabad/Pune engineering hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 8+ years of quality engineering and automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Playwright, Selenium with Java, Cypress, GT UI, GT API and BDD with Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of functional testing principles.
• Experience in P&C Insurance, Claims and Guidewire ClaimCenter.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage testing efforts for Guidewire ClaimCenter, integrations and forms testing.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers to ensure high standards of quality and performance.
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium with Java, Cypress, GT UI and GT API.
• Implement and manage BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
• Develop comprehensive test plans covering functional test design and execution approaches.
• Develop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.
• Execute test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
• Identify, document and track defects and issues through resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate testing.
• Review team members’ test cases and deliverables and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in P&C insurance and Guidewire.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Identify and elevate issues and risks and work with project managers and stakeholders toward timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and P&C insurance.
• Track team status and share daily, weekly and monthly status reports with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities
