ValueMomentum, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Tester to support database and data testing activities. You will develop test strategies, validate data integrity, and execute tests across the data lifecycle, collaborating with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders.

You will contribute to data quality improvements, work with Data Warehouse/Data Lake/Hubs, and participate in reviews of requirements and designs. This role offers growth within a data-focused QA team.

Competenze

• 7-10 years of experience in a QA engineering position.
• Strong ETL data testing experience using SQL and Python in a Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or Data Hub.
• Ability to develop test strategies and test plans when required.
• Knowledge of and experience working with Medallion Architecture.
• Experience building or maintaining test frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, document/data formats, and search technologies.
• Experience with enterprise databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or NoSQL databases is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

About the job:

We are looking for a Senior Data Tester to support database and data testing activities. The role involves developing test strategies, identifying risks and dependencies, evaluating data sources, validating data integrity, and executing tests to identify issues and discrepancies. The Senior Data Tester will work closely with data analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to maintain and improve data quality throughout the data lifecycle.
