The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will lead sourcing and supply chain activities for energy projects. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of equipment, including panels, inverters, structures, cables, and BOS materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for solar panels, inverters, structures, cables, and BOS materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
- Ensure procurement aligns with company cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Manage import documentation, LCs, and supplier payment schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment for ongoing EPC projects.
- Establish and maintain efficient warehousing practices.
- Implement ERP or inventory tracking systems for real‑time visibility.
- Plan and manage transportation of materials to project sites across Pakistan.
- Coordinate customs clearance, freight forwarding, and inland logistics.
- Optimize routes and delivery schedules to reduce logistics costs.
- Develop supplier evaluation and performance monitoring systems.
- Build strong relationships with key local and international vendors.
- Ensure suppliers comply with company quality and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project, and Finance teams for material forecasting.
- Support project timelines through efficient procurement and delivery schedules.
- Manage site‑level material issuance and consumption tracking.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and government regulations.
- Maintain updated vendor databases, contracts, and purchase records.
- Handle import/export compliance per FBR, Customs, and NEPRA standards.
- Analyze and control supply chain costs.
- Develop KPIs for procurement efficiency and supplier performance.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop supply chain and procurement teams.
- Provide training and mentoring on SCM best practices.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with solar technologies (PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, etc.).
- Understanding of project‑based procurement and BOQ management.
- Strong vendor network in China, Turkey, UAE, and Pakistan.
- Certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or PMP.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- 5–10 years of experience in SCM, preferably in Renewable Energy/EPC/Solar Industry.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, HS codes, LC procedures, and customs clearance in Pakistan.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Odoo) preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
