Wateen Telecom Limited is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing activities for solar projects in Lahore. You will develop procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely acquisition of essential equipment like panels and inverters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Supply Chain Management and extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly with procurement practices. Excellent negotiation skills and a solid vendor network are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with project-based procurement and BOQ management.
• Strong knowledge of import regulations, HS codes, LC procedures, and customs clearance in Pakistan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for solar panels and materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.
• Ensure procurement aligns with company cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage import documentation and supplier payment schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment for projects.
• Implement ERP or inventory tracking systems.

Skills

Familiarity with solar technologies (PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, etc.)

Strong vendor network in China, Turkey, UAE, and Pakistan

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration

5–10 years of experience in SCM, preferably in Renewable Energy/EPC/Solar Industry

ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Odoo)
