We’re looking for a results-driven and analytical Performance Marketer to join our performance marketing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, managing, optimising, and scaling high-performing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and other relevant digital advertising platforms.
Your primary goal will be to drive consistent customer acquisition, profitable revenue growth, and strong Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) across multiple international e-commerce and D2C brands.
This role is ideal for someone with sharp analytical skills, a deep understanding of paid search, shopping, paid social, ad creative, and audience targeting. You should be confident working with large advertising budgets, solving problems quickly, and making data-driven decisions that directly impact revenue and profit margins.

Responsibilities
- Plan, build, launch, and manage high-performing paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok Ads.
- Manage Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max (PMax), Display, and YouTube campaigns focused on customer acquisition and ROI.
- Develop and execute paid social strategies across Facebook and Instagram, with a focus on traffic, conversions, and profitable growth.
- Create tailored performance marketing strategies for multiple e-commerce brands, each with different target audiences, markets, and growth objectives.
- Develop scaling strategies that maintain or improve CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and overall profitability.
- Manage daily advertising budgets, spend pacing, and campaign scaling according to business targets.
- Take ownership of campaign performance and make proactive decisions to maximise marketing efficiency.
2. Campaign Optimisation & Performance Growth
- Analyse campaign performance daily, identify trends, and implement data-backed optimisations.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including ROAS, CPA, CAC, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rate, and revenue.
- Identify underperforming campaigns, ad sets, audiences, keywords, and creatives, and take corrective action.
- Test and optimise bidding strategies, campaign structures, audience targeting, ad placements, and budget allocation.
- Develop and implement A/B testing strategies for ad creatives, ad copy, landing pages, audiences, and bidding approaches.
- Scale profitable campaigns while maintaining target acquisition costs and return on ad spend.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition efficiency and profit margins.
3. Google Ads & Shopping Management
- Build and manage Google Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, competitor research, and audience segmentation.
- Manage campaign bidding strategies, keyword targeting, negative keywords, ad assets, and budget allocation.
- Set up and maintain Google Merchant Centre product feeds, ensuring product data accuracy, feed quality, and policy compliance.
- Monitor product disapprovals, feed errors, and Merchant Centre issues, resolving problems promptly.
- Optimise shopping campaigns based on product performance, search intent, profitability, and conversion data.
- Stay updated on Google Ads algorithm changes, platform updates, and industry best practices.
4. Meta Ads & Paid Social Management
- Plan, launch, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta Ads Manager, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Develop campaign structures, targeting strategies, retargeting audiences, and acquisition funnels.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance, audience segmentation, ad sets, placements, and budget allocation.
- Work closely with creative teams to identify winning ad concepts, hooks, messaging, and creative formats.
- Develop compelling ad copy aligned with brand positioning, customer pain points, and campaign objectives.
- Test different ad creatives, formats, audiences, and messaging to improve performance.
- Monitor creative fatigue and recommend fresh creative concepts to maintain campaign efficiency.
- Stay informed about Meta Ads updates, algorithm changes, and paid social best practices.
5. Analytics, Tracking & Reporting
- Track and analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads reporting, Meta Ads Manager, and other relevant analytics tools.
- Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot conversion tracking, pixels, Google Tag Manager, and UTM parameters.
- Ensure accurate tracking of purchases, leads, revenue, and other key conversion events.
- Build and maintain performance reporting dashboards using Google Sheets, Excel, and relevant reporting tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports covering spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, CAC, and campaign performance.
- Track advertising spend, pacing, and forecast campaign performance against business targets.
- Present clear reports, actionable insights, growth strategies, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify data trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, copywriters, and marketing teams to develop high-performing ad creatives.
- Prepare creative briefs based on campaign objectives, audience insights, and performance data.
- Provide actionable feedback on ad creatives, copy, hooks, and messaging.
- Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and marketing messages.
- Collaborate with the website and e-commerce teams to improve landing pages, product pages, and conversion funnels.
- Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure marketing creatives and landing pages align with brand goals and target audiences.
7. E-commerce Growth & Business Strategy
- Develop and execute tailored growth plans for multiple international e-commerce and D2C brands.
- Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and profitable scaling across different markets.
- Evaluate campaign performance in relation to business goals, contribution margins, and customer acquisition costs.
- Prioritise high-impact growth initiatives and allocate resources to the most valuable opportunities.
- Monitor customer acquisition trends and identify opportunities for expansion into new markets or audiences.
- Work closely with internal teams to align marketing activities with sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Take ownership of performance marketing outcomes and continuously look for ways to improve business growth.
8. Task Prioritisation & Communication
- Manage multiple advertising accounts, brands, campaigns, and projects simultaneously.
- Identify key priorities and focus on high-impact activities that drive the most value.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and management.
- Present campaign performance, growth strategies, and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
- Ensure timely completion of campaign launches, optimisations, reporting, and other marketing tasks.
Proactively identify problems, communicate challenges, and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid media buying, or digital advertising.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns with measurable results.
- Experience managing substantial advertising budgets, ideally £100k+ monthly, across UK, EU, Australia, or USA markets.
- In-depth understanding of Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Meta Ads, and paid social campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of campaign structures, bidding strategies, optimisation, audience targeting, and conversion tracking.
- Proven ability to scale profitable campaigns while maintaining ROAS and CPA targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and performance reporting.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking, and advertising pixels.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce funnels, conversion optimisation, and customer acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present clear reports, insights, and recommendations.
