Job summary

HRBS Global is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team to manage monthly payroll, maintain employee records, and support HR operations. You will ensure accuracy of salary processing, prepare payslips, and maintain payroll databases while upholding confidentiality and compliance with labour laws.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience, proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel, and a good understanding of recruitment processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in payroll, HR operations, or a similar role.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll processing, payslip preparation, and employee record management.
• Working knowledge of applicable labour laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with HR management systems, payroll software, and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Candidates with experience at Cloudways or similar technology companies will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursements.
• Prepare and maintain employee payslips, payroll reports, and compensation records.
• Maintain accurate employee records, payroll databases, and HR documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Handle payroll-related queries and resolve salary discrepancies.
• Coordinate with finance and HR teams to ensure accurate payroll calculations and reporting.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including the maintenance of relevant documentation.
• Assist with talent acquisition activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination, as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive payroll data.
• Prepare payroll trackers, reports, and other HR-related documentation.
• Support additional HR and administrative tasks as required.
