The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll operations for US-based employees while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage payroll data accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
Process end‑to‑end US payroll ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including compensation, deductions, benefits, and tax information.
Coordinate payroll inputs such as attendance, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments.
Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations including tax deductions and reporting.
Assist in payroll reconciliation, reporting, and payroll audits.
Generate and maintain payroll reports, summaries, and financial documentation for management review.
Handle payroll‑related queries from employees and provide clear and professional communication.
Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing.
Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee financial data.
Support payroll system updates, documentation, and process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably US payroll.
Strong understanding of US payroll regulations, tax deductions, and payroll compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems or HRMS platforms.
Experience with payroll software or ERP systems will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work in night shifts aligned with US time zones.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Experience working in a BPO, shared services, or international payroll environment.
Familiarity with ADP, Paychex, Gusto, or similar US payroll platforms.
Basic understanding of US employment and payroll compliance standards.
