Job summary

Trinapower Pakistan is seeking an experienced engineer to conduct site surveys, load analyses, and create integrated PV and PV-plus-storage system designs for Pakistan. You will size systems, select modules and inverters, design batteries, and prepare major equipment lists for on-site installations.

You will provide pre-bid and pre-project technical support, understand local grid rules, coordinate with utilities and teams, and optimize designs for economics and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys, load analysis, resource assessment, and system design for PV and PV+storage projects in Pakistan.
• Independent sizing and configuration: PV module selection, inverter config, battery capacity, mounting, cabling, on-grid solution, equipment lists.
• Provide pre-bid/pre-project technical support: proposals, equipment recommendations, quantity/cost estimates.
• Understand local electricity facility connection rules, grid connection requirements, and coordination with utilities and teams.
• Optimize designs based on grid conditions and tariffs to improve economics and reliability.
• Support site briefs, construction coordination, commissioning, and grid-connection acceptance.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, procurement, engineering, and O&M to drive projects from solution to delivery.
• Track PV/storage market developments to build standardized, replicable solutions.

Job description

Conduct site surveys, load analysis, resource assessment, technical solution design and system configuration for PV and PV-plus-storage projects in Pakistan. Develop integrated system designs for PV, energy storage, inverters, power distribution and grid connection based on customer load profiles, site conditions, grid requirements and investment objectives.

Independently complete system sizing and configuration, including PV module selection, inverter configuration, battery capacity design, mounting structure design, cable selection, on grid soluiton, and preparation of major equipment lists.

Provide pre-bid and pre-project technical support for EPC projects, including technical proposals, equipment selection recommendations, quantity estimation, cost estimation, bid support and customer technical discussions.

Understand Pakistan's local electricity facility connection rules, grid connection requirements, distribution system conditions and related approval processes, and coordinate effectively with local utilities, customers, design institutes, equipment suppliers and construction teams.

Optimize system design based on Pakistan's grid conditions, tariff policies, load characteristics and project scenarios to improve project economics, reliability and constructability.

Support site surveys, technical briefings, construction coordination, commissioning and grid connection acceptance.

Work closely with marketing, sales, procurement, engineering and O&M teams to drive projects from solution development through to delivery.

Continuously track developments in Pakistan’s PV, energy storage, power market and competitor landscape, and build standardized, replicable project solutions and product configurations.
