Job summary

Renewable Resources (Pvt) Ltd. in Islamabad seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in PSS®E, HV power systems, and transmission design to support renewable energy projects.

The candidate will develop SLDs, perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations, and collaborate on protection coordination, short-circuit analysis and stability studies, ensuring reliable power distribution for both Pakistan and international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and power system analysis.
• Proficiency in PSS®E and other power system analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop design documents including Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and layouts, technical specifications, and design criteria.
• Utilize PSS®E software to perform simulations and optimize electrical network performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop protection coordination, short circuit analysis, and voltage stability studies.
• Support feasibility studies, technical assessments, and conceptual design for new and existing transmission infrastructure.
• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations on project findings.
