Job summary

Prime System Solutions seeks a NOC Engineer to maintain a stable IT environment for clients, focusing on automation, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.

You will implement patching automation across Windows, 3rd party, and Mac platforms using Kaseya VSA, Addigy, and Intune, and create proactive reports with Power BI and BrightGauge. Strong communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience developing automation solutions with scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Strong understanding of automation principles and tools
• Troubleshooting and resolving automation issues
• Experience creating performance baselines on servers and network devices
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with virtualization technologies and storage
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud environments
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect are a plus

Responsibilities

• Leverage scripting to streamline processes and reduce issue handling time
• Develop automation solutions to lower failure rates and required engineer involvement
• Create tools to help engineers diagnose and resolve issues faster
• Implement self-service solutions for clients to address common issues
• Develop ROI proforma for each automation initiative
• Maintain and secure a scripting repository
• Create reports showing progress on automation initiatives
• Write custom reports for NOC/Service Desk using Power BI and BrightGauge
• Automate Windows, 3rd party, and Mac patching with Kaseya VSA, Addigy, and Intune
• Manage and update the RMM platform (Kaseya) and BrightGauge analytics
• Provide automated patch status and endpoint compliance reports
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate automation solutions
• Maintain documentation of scripts, tools, and procedures
• Provide technical guidance to clients and teammates on automation best practices
