Job summary

Prime System Solutions is seeking a seasoned System & Network Engineer (Level II) to oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across client environments, spanning on-premises and cloud. You'll handle networking gear, servers, firewalls, and virtualization to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator, with a proven track record of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and data center technologies
• 5+ years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure cloud platforms, including advanced user and group management, permissions, and cloud services administration
• In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and VPN solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet, with hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting these systems
• Strong proficiency in VMware and other virtualization platforms, including virtual machine setup, maintenance, and performance tuning
• Experience managing Windows desktop and server environments (2008-2022), with a strong understanding of patch management, updates, and system hardening
• Proficiency with ticketing and remote management tools such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, and ServiceNow, and other similar platforms
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
• Eligibility to work in Pakistan

Responsibilities

• Network and System Administration across client infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
• Manage on-premises and cloud server environments, using Windows Server and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
• Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments, including user management and cloud services
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions to ensure secure remote access
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues
• Document configurations and solutions in the ticketing system and ensure timely resolution
• Monitor and report on system performance, uptime, and security incidents
