Job summary

Mobiz is seeking a mid-level NOC Engineer to monitor and triage infrastructure for a portfolio of managed services clients. You will own incidents end-to-end, perform diagnostics, and coordinate with engineering squads to drive resolution.

The role covers cloud, network, and endpoint environments with a strong focus on documentation and professional communication. You will work in a 24x7 NOC in Karachi, collaborating with teams across Azure, firewalls, and hybrid infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of NOC, infrastructure ops, or sysadmin experience in a managed services or enterprise environment.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, WAN diagnostics).
• Hands-on with at least one enterprise firewall: Palo Alto, Fortinet, WatchGuard, or Cisco Meraki.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure monitoring and Recovery Services Vault backup jobs.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform for incident lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client infra across cloud, network, server, and endpoints; manage alerts and runbooks.
• Own P1/P2 incidents from acknowledgement to resolution; provide ongoing status in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate with cloud, network, security, and vendor teams for complex resolutions.
• Perform diagnostic investigations and document actions for PIR and handovers.
• Onboard new clients to monitoring platforms and maintain CMDB alignment.
