Job summary

PTCL seeks a seasoned Program/Project Manager to lead strategic ICT and telecommunications projects in Pakistan. You will plan, execute and monitor initiatives within defined budgets and timelines, while guiding stakeholders and ensuring alignment with PTCL's transformation objectives.

The role requires strong budgeting, governance, risk management, and quality control skills, with emphasis on vendor management and change processes to deliver high-impact ICT solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and deliver strategic projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Ensure effective stakeholder management, risk mitigation, governance compliance and alignment with PTCL Group objectives.
• Communicate with stakeholders, address concerns and secure positive feedback.
• Monitor budgets and costs to manage variances and ensure efficient utilization.
• Oversee vendor performance, SLA compliance, contracts and timely procurement/deliveries.
• Evaluate change requests and manage quality impact on project scope, cost and timelines.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Telecommunication/Computer Science or Information Technology

Be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering strategic projects within the approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role ensures effective stakeholder management, risk mitigation, governance compliance, and alignment with PTCL Group`s business objectives.

• Program and Project Planning: Initiate projects with approved scope, budget, and timelines; ensure timely completion of project planning activities.
• Project Execution & Delivery: Deliver projects within approved timelines, budget, and scope while effectively monitoring project progress.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective stakeholder communication, address concerns, and ensure positive customer and stakeholder feedback.
• Budget & Cost Control: Ensure efficient budget utilization and monitor planned versus actual project costs to manage variances.
• Vendor & Contract Management: Monitor vendor performance, SLA compliance, contract adherence, and timely procurement and deliveries.
• Change & Quality Management: Evaluate and manage change requests while maintaining quality and minimizing impact on project scope, cost, and timelines.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification:

• Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in telecommunications, ICT, digital transformation, infrastructure, network deployment, or enterprise technology projects is preferred
