Job summary

PTCL is seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture for telecom and ICT solutions in Pakistan. You will coordinate with sales, tech, operations, vendors, and customers to translate requirements into feasible designs and proposals.

The role covers design, implementation planning, and delivery oversight, ensuring quality and contractual compliance while driving customer value and partner coordination.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in IT solution design, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering.
• Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise IT infrastructure is required.
• Technical Proposal & Solution Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for telecom and ICT solutions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Tech Sales, Business, Technology, Operations, OEMs, vendors, and customers for timely design and proposals.
• Provide technical consultation and develop cost-effective ICT solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Prepare end-to-end solution designs and implementation plans for project delivery.
• Ensure delivery quality, contractual compliance, and high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with OEMs and partners to meet technical specs and delivery schedules.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

To lead and manage the end-to-end solution architecture domain of telecom and ICT solutions, ensuring that customer requirements are translated into technically feasible, cost-effective, scalable, and secure solutions.

The role is responsible for coordinating with sales & tech sales, business, technology, operations, OEMs, vendors, and customers to ensure timely solution design, technical proposals & writeups, scoping, implementation plan and RFS with handover to customer, in line with PTCL's quality, commercial, and service standards.

• Relationship Management & Business Growth - Build strong customer relationships, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, understand evolving ICT needs, and collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to drive business growth.
• Consultation & Solution Design - Provide technical consultation, design cost-effective ICT solutions, recommend best practices, and develop solution proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Implementation & Delivery - Prepare end-to-end solution designs, implementation plans, and support project execution to ensure successful deployment, customer acceptance, and contractual compliance.
• Support & Customer Satisfaction - Deliver technical support, resolve customer issues, and maintain service quality in accordance with ITSM standards, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
• OEM & Partner Management - Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and partners to ensure adherence to technical specifications, delivery schedules, quality standards, and project commitments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Qualification

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in IT solution design, enterprise architecture, or systems engineering. Demonstrated deep expertise and hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, compute, storage, virtualization, operating systems)
