Job summary

PTCL Group is seeking a Telecom Engineer to lead planning and deployment of FTTH networks and related links in Attock and surrounding areas, coordinating surveys and HLD/LLD verifications with Customer & Technical Ops. The role emphasizes timely FR submissions and BoQ verification with PAT Team, while upholding health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BS Engineering in telecom/electrical/electronics/IT/computer and have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering in relevant field and 1+ year experience in FTTH/cabling deployments.
• Experience with FTTH network planning and site surveys is required.
• Knowledge of GIS and PAT activities is essential.
• Understanding of MSAGs/MSANs and GPON OLTs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deploy FTTH network, MSAGs/MSANs, GPON OLTs, Hybrid MSAG and related links in Attock region and surroundings.
• Ensure surveys and HLD/LLD verification in coordination with Customer and Technical Ops.
• Submit FRs and deployments on corporate projects; verify BoQs with PAT Team.
• Maintain Health, Safety and environmental standards to prevent equipment damage and protect personnel.
• Coordinate effectively with management and vendors to achieve rollout targets on time.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Be responsible for planning and deployment of FTTH network, corporate links, Carrier links, ISP related activities, Installation/shifting of MSAGs etc in Attock/Hazro/Pindi Gheb along with its surrounding areas.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:

• Responsible for planning and deployment of FTTH network, MSAGs/MSANs, GPON OLTs, Hybrid MSAG, Transmission Nodes, Ip Edge Equipment, DRS links, corporate links, Carrier links in Attock/Hazro/Pindi Gheb along with its surrounding areas in the region RTR.
• Ensure Surveys and Complete HLD and LLD verification of Surveyed Areas in Coordination of Customer and Technical Ops against FTTH, corporate, ISP Projects.
• Ensure timely submission of FRs and deployment against corporate projects.
• Ensure to send BoQs duly verified by PAT Team for SAN/GRN to PD and ensure timely expense booking.
• Ensure Health, Safety and environmental conditions and standards to avoid any equipment damage, human life during deployment activities.
• Ensure effective coordination with management and vendors to achieve rollout targets on time.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Qualification:

Education:

• BS Engineering (Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, IT, Computer etc.)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant field.

Technical Competency:

• Knowledge about Technical Equipment & FTTH
• Knowledge about GIS
• Knowledge about PAT activities
