Job summary

METRO Pakistan is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to maintain and support the store IT environment. You will oversee LAN/WAN devices, PABX systems and video conferencing, providing frontline IT support to store users and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include hardware installation, inventory control, circuit configuration, and remote/onsite problem resolution. A 2–3 year background in IT infrastructure is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–3 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN devices and PABX systems.
• Strong communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability, security and performance of store IT infrastructure.
• Administer LAN/WAN devices and troubleshoot.
• Provide IT support to users as first point of contact.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Install and configure PABX and voice/data circuits.
• Support end users and resolve complaints promptly.
• Install new hardware and manage inventory.
• Manage video and teleconference systems.
• Assist management with other assignments.

Job Description

• Responsible for ensuring the stability, security & performance of IT infrastructure at store
• LAN/WAN devices administration and troubleshooting
• Providing IT support to users and being the first point of contact for problem resolution to ensure seamless IT operations for all users
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• PABX system installation and configuration
• Preparation & configuration of Voice / data circuits
• End user support for day to day activities & timely resolution of all user complaints at store
• Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc)
• Inventory management and supplier dealing
• Video & Tele conference systems management for business meetings
• Management of client end utilities VPN, voice and Data etc.
• Article updating on scale through software
• Other assignment assigned by line management.

Qualifications

Bachelors in related field with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure
