Job description

We are looking for a skilled HR Specialist who will recruit, support and develop talent through assistance in development and implementation of policies and procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making Xgrid a better place to work.

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.

• Offer recommendations on policies and procedures

• Actively contribute to the management of the hiring process by tasks such as crafting job descriptions, posting job advertisements, and coordinating interview schedules.

• Create and implement effective onboarding plans

• Assist in establishment of training and development programs

• Assist in performance management processes

• Assist with disciplinary and grievance matters.

• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements

• Ensure legal compliance in employment and working conditions.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, social studies, HR or relevant field

• 2 years of proven experience as HR Specialist or relevant HR role

• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)

• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

• Proficient in recruitment, knowledge of ATS and HRMS is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
