Job summary

Master Group in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee payroll operations, compensation and benefits administration, and core HR functions. You will ensure accurate monthly payroll, salary benchmarking, annual increments, incentives, and statutory compliance while maintaining internal equity.

The role also covers employee documentation, offboarding, performance appraisal coordination, and reporting. A strong background in payroll, HR operations, and Labor Laws is required.

Qualifications

• BBA HR or MHRM degree.
• 4-6 years of relevant HR/payroll experience.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws & HR Compliance.
• Employee Records & Documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Execute Payroll Processing: Manage the complete monthly payroll cycle for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain Employee Records: Keep digital and physical payroll records up-to-date and audit-ready.
• Analyze & Reconcile Data: Monthly analyses on salary components, incentives, deductions, and contributions.
• Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare payroll reconciliation and variance reports for management insight.
• Benchmarking & Administration: Support salary benchmarking, reviews, annual increments, and benefits.
• Market Alignment: Ensure internal equity and market competitiveness of compensation models.
• Employee Documentation: Issue confirmations, transfers, service certificates, and clearance letters.
• Separation Management: Handle full & final settlements for departing staff.
• Loans & Advances: Manage salary advance requests as per policy.
• Incentive & Bonus Processing: Calculate and distribute annual bonuses and incentives.
• Appraisal Execution: Coordinate annual/semi-annual appraisals; summarize evaluations.
