Job summary

CMH METLABS in Karachi is seeking an Assistant Manager HR to support the people function and coordinate HR operations in a professional, technical workplace. You will handle recruitment coordination, onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, benefits administration, policy implementation, and HR reporting, while ensuring confidentiality and timely communication with lab, technical, and administrative teams.

The role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, attendance, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Ability to prepare HR reports and handle confidential information.
• Understanding payroll coordination, workplace policies, and performance management.
• Strong written and verbal communication for employee support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to support multiple departments and build cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning, recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, onboarding, and employee documentation.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, attendance records, leave data, HR reports, and confidential information.
• Assist with payroll inputs, benefits administration, policy implementation, and compliance activities.
• Respond to employee queries and help resolve workplace concerns through professional communication.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, training records, and staff engagement activities.
• Prepare management reports and provide HR support to laboratory, technical, and administrative teams.
