Job summary

Contour Software in Karachi is seeking an energetic HR/Business graduate to join as an HR Intern. You will assist in administering employee health and welfare plans and serve as a liaison between employees and insurance providers.

You will perform HRIS entries, record-keeping, and support the recruitment process while ensuring compliance with local labor laws. The role offers exposure to a global tech company and opportunities to grow within the Human Resources team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business Management or related field.
• Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Process documents through payroll and insurance providers for accurate record-keeping and deductions.
• Respond to employee requests and questions for customer service.
• Assist in reconciling benefits statements.
• Assist in processing of terminations.
• Conduct background checks of all new hires and maintain records properly.
• Assist with recruitment and interview process when needed.
• File documents into appropriate employee files (physical/electronic).
• Assist or prepare HR correspondence as requested.
• Assist in HRIS (Workday) responsibilities including records updates and onboarding.
