Job summary

Laneway Education is seeking a proactive HR Executive to manage the full HR cycle—from recruitment and onboarding to records, engagement, and policy compliance. You will serve as a reliable point of contact for employees and management, handling onboarding, payroll cooperation, and HR documentation for onsite and remote staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR/BA, at least 2 years of HR experience, and strong English/Urdu communication, with knowledge of Pakistan labor laws and HR best

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in an HR Executive / HR Officer role.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of Pakistan labor laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Draft and post job advertisements on job portals, LinkedIn, and social channels.
• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates; schedule and coordinate interviews.
• Conduct initial HR screening calls and support hiring managers through the selection process.
• Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and appointment documentation.
• Run smooth onboarding and orientation for new joiners, both onsite and remote.
• Maintain accurate employee records, files, and the HR database.
• Track attendance, leaves, and working hours; coordinate with finance for payroll inputs.
• Manage employee documentation including NOCs, experience letters, and exit paperwork.
• Handle the full exit process, including resignations, clearances, and exit interviews.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances.
• Plan and coordinate engagement activities, team events, and recognition initiatives.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.
• Implement and update HR policies, SOPs, and the employee handbook.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.
• Support performance review cycles, probation evaluations, and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate training and development activities as needed.
• Prepare regular HR reports covering headcount, hiring status, attrition, and attendance.
• Share insights and recommendations with management to improve HR processes.
